I have forgotten my password, how do I reset it?
For security reasons we require you to contact your local support team, or email New Zealand, Australia info@orbitremit.com, United Kingdom info@orbitremit.co.uk should you need to reset your password.
What do I need to become a registered customer?
Becoming a customer is quick and easy.
All you need is:
- A bank account with any bank in one of the countries we send from.
- Internet access linked to your bank account with the facility for internet banking transfers activated.
- A current email address.
- A Photo ID for identity authentication (a copy of your driver's license or passport)
- A Bank statement or Utility bill in your name less than 3 months old for address verification
How can I be sure my money is secure?
As we do not accept payment via credit or debit card your money is always secure as throughout the whole process it is traceable within the banking system. Who can use my OrbitRemit account?
In order to maintain and meet our anti money laundering and anti terrorist financing obligations we have a one account one user policy for your OrbitRemit Account. Under our terms and conditions of use you are the only person permitted to transfer funds using your OrbitRemit account. In addition you are not permitted to use your OrbitRemit account to sends funds on behalf of a third party.
I would like to send funds from more than one country, can I do this?
There is an option in your OrbitRemit dashboard under 'My Profile' to request access to send from additional countries to the one you originally regsitered under. A request for additional send country approval is sent to OrbitRemit and will generally be approved within 24 hours. The option to send from additional countries is only available to customers who have been address and identity verified.
Is OrbitRemit a registered financial services provider?
We are registered with Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs (HMRC) as a Money Service Business (registration number 12480317) and the Financial Services Authority (FSA) as a Payment Institution (registration number 506548). We are also registered with the Financial Markets Authority (FMA) as a Financial Services Provider (registration number FSP7721).
