Making an Overseas Payment with OrbitRemit
A quick and easy process - all from your OrbitRemit Dashboard.
Once you have registered online, you will be taken straight to your OrbitRemit dashboard, which is where you save your payee details, place new payments and monitor the status of your historical payments.
From your OrbitRemit dashboard...
Click 'New Payment'
From the navigation at the top of the page.
Choose the Destination
From the available countries presented to you.
Choose the 'Product'
You will be presented with all the payment types you can make to your selected destination.
Save Payee Details, or Choose a Saved Payee
The first time you make a payment to a particular payee, you must enter the payment information. These details will be saved for next time.
Confirm Payee Details
Confirm that the details are correct before you proceed.
Calculate Payment Amount
You can send a fixed amount in either your local currency, or the destination currency, based on the current exchange rate.
Review & Confirm Payment Details
Confirm that the details are correct before you proceed. You can also enter a Reference to be attached to your payment, or redeem any promotional codes before confirming your payment.
Submit Your Payment
Your payment will be placed into our system awaiting release. Your payment status will be 'Awaiting Payment'.
Make Payment to OrbitRemit
Use your internet banking to pay the payment total to your local OrbitRemit bank account (details provided to you on your receipt).
Your Payee Receives Payment
Once your payment is received by OrbitRemit, your payment status becomes 'Awaiting Settlement'. In most cases, OrbitRemit will release your payment to your payee on the same day as your payment is received. At this point, your payment status becomes 'Funds Paid'. You can monitor the status of your payment at any time from your OrbitRemit dashboard.
