Who can certify my identity documentation?

An appropriate person to certify copies of your identity documentation is an independent professional person who is not already a friend or relative of yours.

For example:

• Family GP
• Accountant
• Civil Servant
• Teacher
• Solicitor
• Notary
• Post Office branch employee
• Employer

In addition to providing a written certification on the copy document to confirm the identification of the applicant, the certifying individual should also provide their business contact details.

Please have the person verifying your document write, 'I herby certify this to be a true and exact copy of the original document'.

Please have them sign, date and print their name on the document.

We are obligated by law to obtain this information and do apologise for any inconvenience caused.

We provide our assurance that this is a once only process and thank you for taking the time to verify your address and identity.
