How long before my beneficiary will be able to collect the funds for a cash pick up payment?
In general, payments made through OrbitRemit will be available for collection within 1-2 days of OrbitRemit receiving your local transfer via Internet Banking.
In all instances, funds will be available within 36 hours of your payments status being updated to ‘Funds Received’ and you will be issued a status update via e-mail once your payment is 'Awaiting Collection'
As per our terms and conditions, payout timeframes can be longer at weekends and on public holidays.
Where can my beneficiary collect their cash-pick up payment?
OrbitRemit offers the ability to 'Pay a Person' in China, the Philippines, or Vietnam.
Funds can be delivered directly to your beneficiary's address, or made avialable for cash pick-up.
Cash Pick-up locations are:
Philippines: From any Banco De Oro (BDO) or M.L.Hullier branch nationwide
Vietnam: From any Sacombank branch nationwide
China: From any China Post (CPO) branch nationwide
How long before the money will appear in the beneficiary account?
In general, payments made through OrbitRemit will be paid to your beneficiary account within 1-2 days of OrbitRemit receiving your local transfer via Internet Banking.

Will I get notified when the funds have been transferred to my nominated account?
Once we make the payment to your payee account the status of your payment will update to ‘Funds Paid’.
This does not mean that the funds will immediately show in your account - it means that we have paid them to the requested destination. Funds may not show until the next day, as it may be overnight before the banking system clears the money into your account.
Will you contact my beneficiary to make them aware that the funds are available for collection?
It is the responsibility of the sender for other destinations to advise their beneficiary funds are available when the status of their transaction changes to 'Awaiting Collection'
Are you able to pay out in US Dollars?
No. At this point in time we are only able to make payment in the local currency in the receiving country.
