How do I make payments above 9,900.00 in my local currency?
OrbitRemit can process transfers of up to any value, however these must be arranged over the phone with your local OrbitRemit office.
The limit for payment instructions made online is 9,900.00 in local currency for verified personal customers and 25,000.00 for verified business customers.

What do I have to provide in order to upgrade my address and identification status?
OrbitRemit may require you to provide us with evidence to help verify your identity and address.
Verifying your account is a simple, one-off process and we treat the information provided with absolute confidentiality, as per our privacy policy.
In order for us to verify your address, you must provide us with one of the following:
- A recent (must be dated within the past 3 months) bank statement with your current residential address, matching the address you have provided OrbitRemit.
- A recent (must be dated within the past 3 months) utility bill statement with your current residential address, matching the address you have provided OrbitRemit.
In order for us to verify your identity, you must provide us with one of the following:
- A certified copy of your current driver's license
- A certified copy of your current passport
You will be advised if we require this information and can upload documents directly via the website.
Are there minimum and maximum amount limits for payments?
The minimum amount for any OrbitRemit payment type in 50.00 in your local currency.
In the United Kingdom, you can make one payment of 800.00 in local currency until your account has been verified, then as a personal customer, you can make payments of up to 9,900.00 from your OrbitRemit dashboard.
In New Zealand and Australia, you can make payment sup tot he value of 2000.00 in local currency until your account has been verified, then as a personal customer, you can make payments of up to 9,900.00 from your OrbitRemit dashboard.
Verified business customers in all countries we operate in can make payments of up to 25,000.00 in their local currency.
OrbitRemit can also make high value transfers up to any value - to arranage a transfer in excess of your send limit, please contact your local OrbitRemit office via phone.
I am having trouble uploading a document through the site, what is the best option?
The most common reason for this problem is the file type or size. If you are still having problems please email the document to us directly at info@orbitremit.com and we will endeavour to process your account for upgrading as soon as possible.
