Making a payment through OrbitRemit is quick & easy
We've done our best to keep it simple.
You simply create your payment instruction online and then make a free local transfer to the OrbitRemit bank account from your Internet Banking.
You're in control at all stages via our intuitive online system.
We believe that sending payments overseas should be easy. With our purpose-built online system, there are no queues, no closing times, no need to travel to an agent office and no need for you to withdraw/carry cash.
01. Place your payment instruction online.
Use the calculator on our Homepage, or browse the various Payment Types - then follow the process through to confirm your payment instruction.

02. Transfer funds to OrbitRemit using Internet Banking.
As soon as you place your first payment instruction online, you'll be issued with a unique customer number, which is used as your reference number for all payments to OrbitRemit. You'll also be provided with the details for your local OrbitRemit bank account.
You simply transfer the payment total (the amount in local currency you are sending, plus the applicable payment fee) to the local OrbitRemit bank account using your Internet Banking.
03. Your payment is paid out in the destination country.
Your payment will typically be paid out in the receiving country within 24 hours of your local office receiving your cleared local transfer.

You can check your payment status and history online at anytime.
Placing your first payment instruction online creates your own personalised 'Dashboard', which you can log in to at any time to check the status of your payment, or to place another one!
Your dashboard will automatically update with the status of your payment as it is processed and you'll also be kept informed via email.
