Referral Program: Terms and conditions

By using our referral program you confirm that you accept the Terms and that you agree to comply with them.

1. If you do not wish to agree to and abide by the Terms in their entirety, you must not use our Referral Program
2. We reserve the right to refuse a reward for any legitimate reason at our discretion and in particular if we suspect that there has been any misuse of this promotion in any way.
3. Please note that participation in the referral program is only available to existing customers who have completed a successful transfer (a transfer with 'Funds Paid' status) with OrbitRemit.
4. All customers transacting with OrbitRemit are subject to OrbitRemit onboarding procedures which include agreeing to OrbitRemit's general Terms of Use.
5. The referred friends' transfer must be for a minimum value of 300 units of the transfer send currency to count towards a referral reward.
6. Transfers between the referrer and the referred will not count toward the referral reward.
7. Your referee must use your referral link. We cannot track invitations that are not sent via your referral link.
8. Your referred friend must accept cookies from third parties for tracking.
9. Same-currency transfers don't count towards the referral program
10. A limit may be placed on the total number of referral rewards over a given time period to which a user is entitled in respect of the referral program.

Referral Program fair use

You may only use our referral program in good faith for lawful purposes.

You may not:

1. create more than one account in order to invite yourself;
2. invite others that have created duplicate accounts;
3. use alternative contact information to refer yourself or others that have created duplicate accounts;
4. invite an existing customer of OrbitRemit;
5. invite fictitious persons;
6. do anything that damages OrbitRemit's brand, goodwill or reputation;
7. make transfers to another user that are not genuine transfers;
8. use the referral program in:
9. any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation; or
   1. any way that is unlawful or fraudulent, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect;
   2. transmitting any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material or any other form of similar solicitation (this includes; mass emailing, texting or messaging people you do not know or using automated systems or bots through any channel to distribute);
   3. to transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising either via paid search or any other similar activity, including channels that can damage the OrbitRemit brand, goodwill or reputation.
10. Referrals should only be used for personal and non-commercial purposes and should only be shared with personal connections who would appreciate receiving these invitations.
11. You represent and warrant to us that you have obtained the express consent from the individuals whose data you provide us with.

Our rights

1. OrbitRemit has the right to refuse to issue you with a Referral Coupon if (in its sole and absolute discretion) OrbitRemit suspects you have not used the referral program in good faith or have breached these Terms.
2. OrbitRemit will determine, in our sole and absolute discretion, whether there has been a breach of these Terms.
3. When a breach of these Terms has occurred, OrbitRemit may take such action as we deem appropriate, including (but not limited to) termination of these Terms, closing your account(s), closing third party account(s) and suspending the Referral Program.
4. We may revise these Terms at any time by amending this page.
5. Continued use of the Referral Program shall amount to acceptance of the Terms at that time
6. OrbitRemit may require identification documents from you prior to issuing the Referral Coupon
7. OrbitRemit shall not be in breach of these Terms (nor have any obligation to issue you a referral coupon if you do not (in OrbitRemit's sole and absolute discretion) provide the identification documents requested by OrbitRemit).
8. OrbitRemit accepts no liability for any use of the referral program which does not comply with these Terms
9. OrbitRemit reserves a right to:
   1. amend, alter or change these Terms at any time, without notice;
   2. terminate these Terms at any time, without notice.
   3. In the event the Terms are terminated, OrbitRemit will not be obliged to credit any accounts that would have otherwise qualified for a Referral Coupon.
